The summer private jet season is well and truly soaring with the Smart team working on an extensive schedule of charters to some of the most sought after holiday destinations in Europe.

Here’s the top locations where our private jet charter clients are heading to this summer:

Monaco for summer style

Stylish, sexy and sunny in the summer, Monaco is always a desirable destination for our private jet clients. With so much going on culturally in the sovereign city-state, we charter many private jets for fashion designers, artists and actors, as well as celebrities looking to soak up the glamorous lifestyle or head on to St Tropez. The team gets a lot of VIP transportation requests from our clients heading to Monaco, including frequent limousine transfers.

Ibiza for party and chill

Whilst Ibiza has a reputation for the place to party in the summer, our clients like to go for the mixture of partying and relaxation. A considerable amount of our clientele have properties on the Balearic Island, and like to pop over for some chill time over the weekends or to catch a particular DJ in action. We see a lot of our clients booking their private jets in advance – they know by now that summer airport slots become in great demand – but we also facilitate innumerable last minute requests too.

Palma for history

Like with Ibiza, our high-profile clients have properties in the historic Mallorcan capital. In the summer, we get countless requests from the snowbirds who live in Palma during the winter, arranging private jet transportation to their holiday home for friends and family.

Scotland is Smart’s most popular destination for golfing breaks for our clients, however, during the summer months we also get a lot of requests for golfing charters to Faro in Portugal. Flying by private jet allows more flexibility than travelling with a commercial airline and clients can arrive up to 15 minutes before departure rather than the standard two hours before.

Croatia for yachts

Our clients travelling to Split tend to board a yacht to cruise around Croatia’s beautiful shores. These VIPs tend to go for a month or more at a time, so it is essential that we always get a good understanding of their baggage requirements. Six people travelling does not mean six bags, it regularly means needing a large hold to accommodate all the items they will be taking with them.
