8 July 2024: The world will be watching Paris this summer as the City of Light hosts the eagerly anticipated 33rd international Summer Olympics. The games start with the iconic Opening Ceremony on Friday, 26th July and will see over 10,500 athletes from 206 countries take part in 329 events until 11th August 2024.
More than 15 million tourists are expected to flock to Paris to support their countries this summer and the Smart Team is heavily involved in getting them there, and some teams too. We have a substantial number of private jet bookings already confirmed and we have also secured flights for some of the competing teams, including numerous flights for an international women’s football team.
As the leaders in global sports charters, we are always involved in the Olympics. In previous years, we always received last minute private jet requests, including a number from VIPS not wanting to miss seeing the fastest people on earth soar to victory in the 4 x 100m finals. The Smart Team is on hand ready to respond to this and turn them around in world record time.
