26 April 2024: In this month’s ‘Smart: Tried and Tested’ we’re taking a look at the Hawker Beechcraft 750, which is highly recognised for having one of the most sizeable cabins in the light-midsize private jet category.
- This advanced jet has been in the skies since receiving certification in 2008. Powered by two Honeywell TFE 731-5BR turbofan engines, the Hawker Beechcraft 750 boasts an impressive maximum cruise speed of 514 mph/828 km/h.
- The Hawker Beechcraft 750 is typically configured to carry up to eight passengers, two flight deck crew and one flight attendant, and can fly for four and half hours or 2430 miles/2111 nautical times, or London-Dalaman, non-stop. Customers can choose to use the executive wooden style table layout or relax in comfort on a three place divan.
- The overall length of the plane is 51 ft 2 inch (15.6m) and it is 18 ft 1 inch (5.5m) high. The inside of the cabin is 5ft 9 inch (1.8m) and the wingspan is 51 ft 4 in (15.65m). Its maximum operating altitude is 39,000 ft.
- Impressive electronics include the Rockwell Collins ProLine 21 avionics and the Airshow 21 cabin management system providing LCD screens, temperature control, and a choice of lighting and entertainment options.
One of the benefits of chartering the Hawker Beechcraft 750 is the 32ft³ external baggage compartment which increases the storage volume compared with the Hawker 800 and 900, this allows customers to bring additional hand luggage onboard.
