Smart Aviation, one of the leading providers of global aircraft and private jet charters, were thrilled to have been the exclusive aviation partner of the 2025 Yiannimize Grand Tour which ended in Dubrovnik on 5th July. For the second year in a row, Yiannimize, the bespoke vehicle wrapping and automotive content and event specialists, held the unique opportunity for supercar owners to enjoy an epic week-long tour. The route this year circled around the Adriatic coastline, taking in Rome, Florence, Venice in Italy, before continuing into Croatia stopping in Rijeka, Split and ending in Dubrovnik.
As the exclusive aviation partner, Smart Aviation received logo branding on all the 40 participating supercars, inclusion in marketing and social media before, during and after the event, and a presence at the registration day, the opening event and at the start line.
Smart’s Matt Feldon, Head of Charter, and James Gregory, Head of VIP Charter travelled to Rome and enjoyed ample networking opportunities at the drivers registration, where the team gifted each participant two co-branded leather luggage labels, and at the opening event mingling with the likes of Dylan Kwabena Mills MBE, also known as Dizzee Rascal, credited as being the pioneer of British hip hop. They also got the opportunity to participate in the media day and were interviewed about their involvement in the event. A highlight for both Matt and James was being given the honour to wave the flags to officially start the tour on Sunday, 29th June and see every participant off on their journey, before being treated to a ride into central Rome in a Lamborghini.
The Smart team was also involved in flying some of the participating drivers and their families home by private jet charter after the conclusion of the Grand Tour in Dubrovnik.
Matt Feldon said: “We wanted to do something Smart had never done before and think outside of the box as we celebrate our 20th anniversary this year. Sponsoring this fantastic event made sense to us. I have a personal interest in supercars and have been a fan of Yianni’s for a long time, following his YouTube channel, so this was a really exciting event to be involved in for me. The event was a huge success, we got a lot out of it from a branding standpoint, so we are already looking at other future opportunities to further collaborate and strengthen our relationship with Yianni and his incredible team”.
James Gregory said: “This was the most organic networking event I have ever been to. Everyone was so friendly and enthusiastic, and it was meticulously organised. We asked each of the Yiannimize team members to sign one of the tour tshirts for us to display in our office, as we were just so proud to be involved. We went there with a purpose to connect with the participants and bond with the team, which we did in abundance. The team was great to work with and I am looking forward to finalising our future plans”.
