Tried & Tested: Embraer Legacy 600

The Embraer Legacy 600 is extremely impressive, boasting one of the longest ranges of any private jet, 3,250 nautical miles – approximately six hours or from London Biggin Hill to Cairo. The extensive range is a huge asset for clients, but it’s also an ideal choice for shorter trips, when a stylish interior and ample space are desired.

The luxury cabin boasts a 240 ft³ baggage hold, the largest in its class, and can carry approximately 18-20 large suitcases. The hold can be accessed at any time.

The Embraer Legacy 600 can easily accommodate up to 13 passengers in three different sections in the cabin. One section has four individual facing forward seats, the second has four seats around a table in a business configuration. The final section offers a more informal set up for relaxation and social dining. It also includes a three-seat divan that transforms into a full-size bed. Comfortable in the day for 13 passengers to fly in spacious leather seats, clients can also request the 13 seats be turned into day beds for night flights.

Powered by two Rolls-Royce AE 3007A1E or AE 3007A engines, the Legacy 600 can fly up to 528mph. The overall length of the plane is 86 ft 5 in (20.7m) and it is 22 ft 4 in (6.46m) high. The inside of the cabin is 6.76 ft tall. The wingspan is 68 ft 11 in (20 m). Its maximum operating altitude is 41,000 ft.
